MAGA is an arts event with its focus on illustration. It's a collaboration between several cultural spaces in the city of Caldas da Rainha gathering at Museu José Malhoa.

The big change during this edition was the creation of a main exhibition at the Museu José Malhoa, giving illustrators the opportunity to share the space with so many other great artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. To bring the central theme of the edition to life – change & transformation –, it was needed to put in practice some alchemy skills. By combining the 6 elements of the event – comics, performace, visual arts, music, illustration and the museum itself –, it was possible to turn maga into Gold: the seventh element.
